NT Swivels are 100% made in Japan. They are the most popular swivels in the Japanese and Asian market because of their extremely high reliability, quality but fair price. The use of a swivel is imperative for the natural and free movement of your lure and also to avoid line twists. Available in popular sizes and only in polished black finish. Salt water corrosion resistant.
Typically when we use a split ring as the primary connector, we tie the shock leader to a good quality swivel first (we try to avoid snap swivels as that is just one more thing that could fail), the swivel then connects to the best split ring you can get. The jig then connects to the split ring. Assist hooks are looped onto a solid ring and the solid ring then connected to the split ring. This way you can change the solid ring with hooks OR/AND the jig at anytime without having to tie any new knots. Basically you use the split ring in place of a snap on a swivel. Stronger and more reliable. This is the 'split ring centric' style of terminal rigging for jigs.
