Jabbers Rods Replacement Sections.

Please note that replacement sections require extended shipping days (1-4 weeks) if we do not have the items in stock.

Please note that all rods have sections that are hand fitted at the factory and checked again before they are shipped to you. When you purchase a a new replacement section, they should generally fit correctly to your existing rod. At least 70% of the male section should be fully inserted into the female part of the section. In the event that this is not the case and the fit is too tight, please perform the following procedure.

1) Make sure that the female and male part of the sections are clean and free of debris and wax.

2) If the fit is still too tight, some minor sanding with extra fine grit (400-600) sandpaper may be necessary. Wrap some masking tape around the rod threads to ensure that you do not damage the part that is not to be sanded. Wrap a small piece of sandpaper around the male section lightly sand by rotating the section and/or the sandpaper. Check the fit and continue sanding if necessary. DO NOT TRY AND TAKE TOO MUCH OFF AT A TIME. The sections are designed such that only 70-85% of the male section is inserted when correctly fitted.
